Parking & Permits
Unloading during residence-hall move-in/out: avoid fire lanes, especially outside residence halls; call the office if you need early access.
Rental/alternate cars: Your permit is virtual and can be attached to multiple cars, but make sure all vehicles’ license plates are registered in your account. One permit per person and one vehicle on campus at a time.
Since your permit is virtual, it will be available from June 15, 2026, at 8 a.m. until
August 15, 2027.
Having trouble purchasing a permit? Contact the office (940-565-3020) or email to ensure your account is authorized for the desired permit.
Transit & Buses
Bus concerns: Start with the DCTA University Routes page for route maps and schedules. Times listed are departure times.
How do I track the buses' locations in real time? Download the Transit app for tracking.
How can I ride the bus? Student ride for no additional cost: The Transportation Fee that is paid with tuition supports campus bus routes and gives students free access to Denton city buses with their student ID.
