The University of North Texas hosts hundreds of events each year. In our office, the Events team aims to take the worry and hassle out of parking on campus if you're scheduling an event here or attending an event.
Attending an event at UNT
If you are attending an event on campus, be sure you check with the event host regarding parking. We require a parking permit every day of the year that the university is open - even if school is not in session, and during evenings and throughout the summer.
If your event host is not providing parking, you can purchase a $5 daily permit that you can print and put on your dashboard by clicking here. Find additional parking information in our Visitor's Guide here.
You may also be able to park in the Highland Street Parking Garage, or in one of our ParkMobile visitor lots which you can find and pay for through the ParkMobile app.

Hosting an event at UNT
If you are a UNT community member (faculty, staff or student) who is scheduling an event on campus, please find more information on the Event Hosts page to ensure your guests have the correct parking information.
If you are not affiliated with UNT but would like to host an event on campus, please be sure you reach out to the university's event planning group. You will also need to work with our department to plan for parking.
Please note that there is likely to be a cost for parking with your event. We ask that you give us at least 14 days advance notice of an event you are planning in order to get you a quote in a timely manner and work with you on pricing.
