is here to help make parking simple—whether you're organizing an event or attending
one. We offer services like reserved parking, lot monitors, and signage to support
a smooth event experience.
Request Parking for an event on campus
Hosts Attendees
UNT Faculty, Staff, or Students
If you're a UNT community member planning an on-campus event:
Submit the Event Request Form at least 14 days in advance so we can provide the best parking options for your guests.
Parking may involve a cost. We’ll review options with you after receiving your completed
request.
If guests are covering their own parking, we’ll help identify available self-pay options.

External Event Hosts
If you're not affiliated with UNT but would like to host an event on campus:
First, contact the university’s event planning team at Transportation.events@unt.edu to get started.
Then, submit the Event Request Form to coordinate parking. We require 14 days' notice to provide pricing and availability.
Event parking typically involves a fee.
If you haven’t received a response within three business days, please follow the instructions
at the bottom of this page or email us directly.
If You’re Attending an Event
Confirm parking arrangements with your event host.
A valid permit is required every day the university is open, including evenings, summer,
and breaks.
If parking isn't provided, you may:
Purchase a $5 daily permit to print and display on your dashboard.
Park in the Highland Street Parking Garage or park in a visitor lot using the Premium
Parking app.
