One quick tips is to give our department 14 days advance notice of your event.

The University of North Texas hosts hundreds of events each year. In our office, the Events team aims to take the worry and hassle out of parking on campus if you're scheduling an event here or attending an event. Our services include reserved parking, lot monitors, signs, and other services to make your event at UNT a success.

UNT community members hosting an event

UNT faculty, staff or students hosting an event on campus will need to do two things in advance of your event on campus:

  • Please give our office 14 days advance notice of your event so we can find the best parking options for your guests. To let us know of your event, please fill out the Event Request Form found here.
  • You may be charged for guest parking. We will work with you once we have your completed event request form. If your guests will need to pay for their own parking, we can go over options with you.
  • If we have not responded to your request in three business days, please follow the procedure at the bottom of this page.

External community members hosting an event

If you are not affiliated with UNT but would like to host an event on campus, please be sure you reach out to the university's event planning group.

You will also need to work with our department to plan for parking. There is likely to be a cost for parking with your event. Please give our office 14 days advance notice of your event so we can find the best parking options for your guests. Please fill out the Event Request Form found here.
