UNT offers classes at two locations in the City of Frisco. Below you will find a guide
for parking and transit information for those campuses. See below for the locations
and click on the addresses to take you to the Google Maps link.
Frisco Landing is located at 12995 Preston Road, Frisco, TX 75033.
Inspire Park is located at 6170 Research Road, Frisco, TX 75033.
Currently, there are no public transit options provided to Frisco branch campus locations
by the University of North Texas. If you need transit to these locations, please check
the rideshare or other private company options available in those areas.
The City of Frisco partners with the Denton County Transportation Authority to provide
limited public transportation services for Frisco residents who are 65 years or older,
disabled, or require transport for medical care-related purposes. Find information on that program by clicking here.
Parking permits for students, faculty, staff and visitors are required for Frisco
Landing. Parking permits are not required at Inspire Park at this time, but will be
required starting in Fall 2025.
Student, faculty and staff permits are $100 for the entire year, mid-August to mid-August.
All may be purchased online through the UNT Parking Portal.
Beginning in the Fall of 2025, the price of parking permits for the Frisco campus
will increase to $200.
Faculty, staff and visitors parking is designated in Lot 2. Student parking is designated
in Lots 1, 3 and 4. You can download the Frisco parking map by clicking here.
Frisco permits will only be valid at Frisco. To park at the UNT campus in Denton,
a UNT permit is required.
All permits sold at UNT Denton are valid at Frisco but carry the same restrictions.
For example, a UNT Denton student permit holder must park in a student parking lot
or a UNT Evening permit holder can only park during evening hours at Frisco Landing.
Visitors also need to pay for parking. Visitor parking is in Lot 2. Download a Frisco parking map by clicking here.
Here are the most common visitor permit options:
Single visitor in need of a daily permit or several hours. It may be most cost effective to purchase a $5 day use permit. This can be purchased the same day you intend to use or several weeks in advance through the UNT Parking Portal. Simply print the PDF permit and put on the vehicle's dashboard.
Large group events. Large group events may be handled through the Transportation Services Events Coordinator. Fill out the Events Request Form or email Transportation.Events@unt.edu.
